I graduated from Bowling Green State University (Bowling Green, Ohio) in 1980 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Interpersonal and Public Communication.  I earned a Masters degree in Science from UNC-G in 1987.

I am licensed to teach Spanish K-12, Reading K-12, and English as a Second Language (ESL) K-12 and have taught all of them over the last ten years.  I currently teach ESL at Trindale, Hopewell, and John Lawrence Elementary Schools. I have met such wonderful kids here at all my schools.  I enjoy how different everybody’s backgrounds are!

My husband and I have five children, two dogs, and one cat.  We live in Trinity and have a vineyard.  It is a lot of work farming!

I love to travel and to find out about all the different places and cultures in the world.
