Hello, dale family!

I am so excited to be in my fifth year here at the dale as Assistant Principal. I came to Trindale as AP after working two years as an AP at Randleman Elementary. Before that, I was a Lead Teacher at Trindale for five years and taught 3rd grade at Farmer here in RCSS.

I received my undergraduate degree in Elementary Education from Welch College (Nashville, Tennessee) in 1989. I graduated with my Masters in Executive Leadership Studies from Gardner Webb University in 2015. I have taught from coast to coast in my 33 years of education (California, Tennessee and now NC), and have loved being in North Carolina for the last 17 years. As an AP, one of my favorite things to do is to read aloud to students. There is nothing better than a good book!

If I'm not at school you may find me hanging out at my lake place, going to antique stores, going to Seagrove to find pottery, listening to Bluegrass music, reading a good book, or spending time with family, friends, and my two fur babies, Rudy and Riley.
