During the week of November 17, Trindale students rallied together to support our community in the Student Council Winter Coat Drive. Grade levels participated in a friendly competition to see who could collect the most coats—all while supporting families in need across our community.
Coats of all sizes were gathered and donated to North Ridge Church and Lawndale Baptist Church, who will distribute them to local families this winter.
By the end of the week, our school had collected an outstanding 477 coats! The competition was close, but fourth grade edged out the win with 95 coats—clearly proving they understood the assignment: warm hearts, warm coats.
The efforts of our Student Council, students, staff, and families were truly remarkable. Thanks to this community-wide teamwork, many people will be warmer and cared for this winter.
