Our second-grade students recently celebrated Earth Day in a meaningful and hands-on way by giving back to the environment. Thanks to the generous donations from our families, students had the opportunity to plant a flower garden, bringing both beauty and learning to our school grounds.
Throughout this experience, students explored what plants need to grow and thrive, gaining a deeper understanding of responsibility as they care for their flowers. This activity not only supported science learning but also encouraged environmental stewardship and pride in our school community.
To make the day even more special, students showed their Earth Day spirit by wearing their vibrant tie-dyed t-shirts, adding a colorful touch to a day focused on growth, care, and community.
We are proud of our second graders for their efforts in making a positive impact on our environment!
