The “Pride in the Randolph County School System (RCSS)” program honors employees who consistently demonstrate pride in the school system and exemplify strong character and commitment in their everyday work. While the program primarily highlights smaller, often unnoticed acts of dedication, it also recognizes exceptional efforts tied to larger events when appropriate.

Employees chosen for this recognition are awarded a “Pride in the Randolph County School System” lapel pin. Recipients are selected by members of the RCSS Leadership Team, school principals, or Board of Education members.

The following pages list the “Pride in RCSS” pin recipients from May 1, 2025, through April 30, 2026. We extend our sincere thanks to these outstanding employees for their dedication to the Randolph County School System.

Today we celebrated Day 1 of EOGs the best way we know how… ICE CREAM! 🍦 And do you know what? Our 3rd, 4th, and 5th graders ALL showed up today! We had perfect attendance across our upper grades, and our students came ready to show what they know. We are so proud of their hard work, determination, and positive attitudes! Get some rest tonight, Stars — we’ll see you tomorrow for Day 2: Math! ➕📚

What better way to prepare for the EOGs than by participating in The Amazing Race… Last week, our fifth graders put their skills to the test during The Amazing Race, working quickly through EOG-style clues and challenges. Students used teamwork, critical thinking, and perseverance as they raced from station to station solving problems along the way. Learning + competition + fun = the perfect way to get our students excited and confident for EOG season! We are so proud of their hard work and determination. 🌟

This morning, our students ran the Go Far race! Led by coaches Ms. Kimball, Mrs. Ryan, Ms. Witten, and Mrs. Boyd, our students gave it their all and completed the race. Weeks and months of practice, dedication, and perseverance went into preparing for this accomplishment, and it truly showed today. We are so proud of our Stars for their hard work and determination! ⭐🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️

We are gearing up for EOG season and ready to SHOW WHAT WE KNOW! ✏️📚💪 Our students and teachers have worked incredibly hard all year long, and now it’s time to celebrate that growth, confidence, and all the learning that has taken place this year. What better way to do that than with a SPIRIT WEEK?! 🎉

Have you ever wondered how the human body works? Last week, our fifth grade students in Mrs. Hutchins’ and Mrs. Moser’s classes became scientists as they created stomach models and simulated the digestion process! From breaking down food to learning how our bodies absorb nutrients, these hands-on activities brought science to life in the most engaging way. 🧪🔬🫀
